World Languages and Cultures alumni wine tasting

In honor of 75 years at UMD, the Department of World Languages & 
Cultures
invites program alumni to a wine tasting social at
the home of Professor Maureen Tobin Stanley on Saturday, April 27 from 4:30-6:30pm.Wines from around the world will be sampled and discussed in an event guided by Duluth wine expert, 
Madison Sabol. The free event is open to all WLC alumni and their guests including wine lovers and those without wine knowledge or experience.

What to Expect

  • Guests will be guided through a professional wine tasting. No prior knowledge of wine or experience with wine tasting is necessary. All participants in the wine tasting must be 21+.
  • This is a casual, social event with alumni and faculty.
  • Hors d'oeuvres will be provided.
  • This event is free to attend. Registration is required.
  • Open to all WLC alumni and their guests.

Location and Parking

  • The event is hosted by Professor Maureen Tobin Stanley at her home near UMD campus. Address and parking instructions will be provided to registered guests.
