Discover the Transformative Power of URSA

URSA is one of the most unique study abroad programs in the world, wherein students pursue their own research, from developing a proposal to conducting that research independently in Morocco. URSA is an empowering, culturally immersive study abroad experience that transforms the lives of students.
"Our graduates are studying and working all over the globe doing amazing things their URSA experience made imaginable."
Join Dr. Ryan Goei, Associate Professor of Communication and Director of UMD’s University Honors Program, and Dr. Dana Lindaman, Department Head and Associate Professor of French Studies, to learn about this one-of-a-kind study abroad experience from its creators and student alumni.
