Mentor Program participants are invited to attend this year's Mentor Meetup & Lunch at the University Recreation and Wellness Center on Friday, February 28 from 12:00 - 1:00 PM. This event will offer a unique opportunity to connect with mentors, network with peers, and explore career opportunities. Join your peers for an engaging day of professional development, insightful conversations, and a delicious lunch.

Students, including undergraduate and graduate, as well as alumni who graduated within the past three years (2022 - 2024), are encouraged to register for the University of Minnesota Job & Internship Fair, happening from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM between the McNamara Alumni Center and Huntington Bank Stadium (Just a short walk away from the University Recreation and Wellness Center). For details on transportation, parking, and more, please see the information below.

Note: Both the Mentor Meetup & Lunch and the University of Minnesota Job & Internship Fair require their own registration. If you wish to attend both events, you must register for both.

Transportation

A coach bus is available through the Career Center to take you to the University of Minnesota Job & Internship Fair at the Huntington Bank Stadium and the McNamara Alumni Center on the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus on Friday, February 28, 2025. 

Stop by the Career Center (22 Solon Campus Center) M-F between 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM to reserve your seat. A $10 deposit is required to hold your seat and will be returned to you when you ride the bus. No refund will be given if you don’t ride the bus.

The bus will depart UMD at 7:30 AM and depart the Fair at 3:00 PM, returning to Duluth around 5:30 PM. The last day to cancel and get a refund is Monday, Feb. 24, 2025.

Parking

We encourage attendees to park at the nearest public parking facilities: University Avenue Ramp, Washington Avenue Ramp, and the Maroon Lot. For more information, please visit the parking facilities map or contact Parking & Transportation Services at [email protected] or (612) 626-7275.
