The UMD Chocolate Lab was created with a chemical engineering grant “Chocolate Across the Curriculum And Outreach” [CACAO]. The goal is to provide chemical engineering students new pathways to connect ideas and concepts between classes and to connect students between grade cohorts. In this tour you will see how faculty use the process of making chocolate to enhance student learning.
